F-14 Oil Filter

I have a F-14 oil filter (5461 DAX base plate complete) and want to use it on a F-12. While cleaning it up noticed there is no outlet from the oil pressure valve chamber back to the crankcase. How is the oil pressure regulated with this filter?
Does anyone have one of these they could look at to see if it has a passage to the crankcase from the pressure valve chamber?

Spring and ball check valve in the filter housing is a bypass for a plugged filter, it doesn't regulate oil pressure.
