Farmall Model A belly mower options?

Hello,
I have been looking for a while, but am unsure what/where to figure this.
Does anyone have a list of what belly mowers work with and/or were designed for the Model A tractor?
I inherited the tractor, and would really like to set it up with a finish belly mower.
I've seen discussions for the Woods models 42, 60 and 72, but am unsure which were made for the tractor.
Any input appreciated...

Most of them have the 60 in, I got one on my B,Farmall. It works but the belt on last a year for the most part!! You can get them left or right hand discharge

The 60" is about right for a Farmall A. It might handle the 72", but 60" would be better.

i run the woods belts and get a number of years out of them. i tried the motion industries belts and they did not last long at all. belt alignment is critical on the deck for long belt life. i have woods 59's on my farmall b and cub.

Here's a link to the Woods website - the belly mowers for older tractors are at the bottom of the list. The mowers themselves aren't tractor-specific, only the mounting and drive parts are. Looks like the 59 and L59 would fit your A.

My '45 A has a L503A Woods.

I have both a 59 and L59. I prefer the L59 as the throw is not right close to me on a windy day. I've run the same belt on it for the 5 years I have had it and it was the belt that came with the mower. Keep the belt nice and tight. They to a super job and will look just as good as any riding mower.

You are doing sdomething bad cause i mow 4A and the belt is close to 8 or more yrs. Very important to have mower adjusted so it lines up from drive to the deck correct tension ect. Last belt i got was from Car Quest 35.00 B-225 now i mow yard as the mower is a finish mower and not a bush hog.

The A will work good with the 72in Woods just install it correct so the blades are lower in front and belt is adjusted so it lines up good on the center sheave of the deckjust remember its a finish mower not a bush hog set it so it cuts at the recomender3in height. Your layout with trees, buildings and so forth help to make the selection.

I know the grass by the grain bins, and machine shed, get's away from me at time's, it gets thick and tall,my B had 175 lbs of compression, and will manhandle that mower! The woods belt is the best brand i have found too. I just consider it the cost of doing business.
