I just bought it knowing hyd didn't work I check oil could see any in trans witch way do I go it runs great any help would help

Check oil under clutch petal very small bolt.

The bolt under the clutch pedal is the full check plug, you fill the trans until oil reaches that level. Total for the 340 is somewhere around 13 gallons I believe.

Did you check/change the hydraulic filter at all?

Running it without oil probably burned up the pump.

ok I found a lot of water in system took pump off hydraulic manifold water water water this would make it not work or might be something else any idea
