Asparagus special.Used to haul harvested asparagus out of the field. Was an article in RPM about them several years ago.

Looks like it has one of those anti whip steering wheels.

They also used a hand operated clutch.(see the lever to the right?)The operator would stand on a platform and use the hand lever to move the tractor in the same manner as a 2 cyl JD.BTW,looks like a second one infront in the top picture

Farmall A are not the easyist tractor to get on and off of. Looks like PO wanted to stand in the rear when operating the tractor.
