In search of IH 188 Planter plates

Searching for two IH/Farmall planter plates and filler rings for an 188 planter. The specific plate number is 3109 AH with the corresponding 3447 AB filler ring. I have tried all of the auction sites and "This dealer may have them" and no luck.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.
 
What seeds are you trying to plant? I have some filler rings.

Call Lincoln Ag, they make nearly every plastic plate there is....402-464-7657.

Just curious if you have a farmer/seed corn dealer neighbor, close to you,they use to have a box of plates,[plastic]. unless if you want cast iron, that's a diff issue.
 
Thanks for the replies. I would go plastic if I knew which one to use. I know it is a 24 tooth wheel but ebay comes up with multiple choices. The rings, not at all. My uncle wants to plant sorghum and the planter wheels he had came up missing. He sent me the one to see if I could find him two more. Here are the images:

I suggest you start your search first with Lincolnag. Today they are basically the last of the volume seed plate makers. 303-658-0281 or 402-464-6367. If they can't help you, ask them for any leads they can give you in your search.

In this situation, I think Ebay will just add to your problems....those people selling plates know nothing about plates.

You state you need plates for sorghum....I think I have new IH plastic plates for sorghum and they look nothing like what you show.

What do you mean by "Wheels"? Did you mean "plates"?

What model number is your IH planter?

I was in the seed sales for 40 years and dealt with plates for many of those years and I am glad to try to help.
