Hey guys, I am in the process of
restoring a 1937 F20. I don't have the
gas tank, so I'm looking for one. Are
there different gas tanks for different
years? I was looking on the auction site
and noticed that some don't have the
inlet for the 2nd partition of the gas
tank and some do. Just a question,
thanks

Double neck tank would be dual fuel or kerosene tractor starts on gas switch to kerosene. Single neck tank found on later models gas only. what manifold do you have? and will you burn gas only? oldiron29

Be sure you get a F-20 tank. The F-12/14 tank is the same shape but the top fill-cap is closer to the center of the tank and will interfere with the F-20 steering shaft.

A Regular tank has a flatter bottom than a F-20 tank.

I have some extra F20 gas tanks if you need one. My email is [email protected]

It has the large square type, which if I understand correctly, that is the dual fuel type. Its all cracked to pieces, I wish I could have saved it.

You are right Randy! Single necks were from a Regulars.
I was thinking more of what manifold he had? oldiron29
