i have a farmall 200 with a c-135. is there anyway to know what the motor is out of? such as numbers on the block? anyway it has come time to look into new bearings and i have a part number but im not sure what to do because it doesn't match anything. it is 2425CP STD. where can i find bearings for this? are they the same as a farmall 340 or 404?

Well i agree it's not a IHC part number, but can u mic the rod journals, and take the old bearing in, with you, that surly will suffice, to get new replacements.

And I thought you were a mechanic! Geez! You should know how to do this. ITS BASIC ENGINE TECHNOLOGY, not rocket science. STD usually
indicates the bearing are for use on a crank that hasnt been turned.

Do you have a ball mike to measure the wear on the old bearings. Without knowing how much wear how will you know which bearings to get cause if the std arent worn do you realy need new ones. Ball mike can tell you alot.

Or use a steel ball and a micrometer. Just subtract the ball diameter from the total reading to get the bearing thickness.
