Cylinder liners!

May be a long shot but I am in need of two good used cylinder liners for 54 Super-C with 123 engine!I tore engine down many years ago with intentions to rebuild it but never did!Got to checking the only two that I can find and they are barley worn at all!These are original IH liners with 3 1/8 bore,6 7/8 to bottom of seating ring,7 1/16 overall length!

If they are the same as used in the A and B engines I may have a couple laying around. When I built my BA I used parts from a B and an A to build a BA. I think I still have the sleeves out of the one block

Hello,that sounds good,my liners had a very slight wear ring at the top,so slight a finger nail would not even catch on them,evem mic'ed them with inside micrometers and got very close to original bore size!What are you asking for two of those?

The A and B were 3 in from the factory, there going to have to be a oversize bore to be a 3 1/8.

dont what all you have to put engine togeter. you might be interested in full set of new pistons and sleves for that engine. 3 1/8 bore slight dome on piston. will sell for 225.00 shiped to you .phone 989 912 0083 if interested

Super C liners have a bigger OD at the bottom where the O ring seal is.

Liners from a stock A or B will not fit a late Super C. The Super C block has a slightly larger bore than a stock A or B block.

Some Late Super A's MIGHT have the right liners, but only a micrometer can tell for sure.

Hello,teddy52food,yes that is correct about bigger at the bottom where the o-ring goe's,mine measure 3 7/16 =3.437!

Hello fastfarmall,I did not know that the A and the B had the 3" from factory,then it would have to be an overbore to be 3 1/8 which is what I need! Thank's!

Hello old,could you measure your liners when you get time and see if they are 3 1/8 and if they are I can use them if just 3" they will not fit!Thank's.

Hello Duane Rushlo,I want to see what I can find used out there right now since I still have the original pistons that are in good condition!I will certainly keep you in mind if I go that route,that is not a bad price!Thank's.

You need the measurement at the bottom of the sleeve where the o-ring goes. The other dimensions are the same for other sleeves but there can be a difference at the bottom where the o-ring goes

I'm not sure where you are located but I have a complete set of pistons, rings, & liners that I took out of my 54 SC when I rebuilt the engine.
