It is a Galion International Roller, made by The Galion Iron Works And Mfg. Co. of Galion Ohio. I don't know how many years they were made, but 1928 would be in range. The nomenclature "Industrial Model 20" on the serial plate may not go back that far.

Galion made 5, 6, 7 and 8 ton versions. I don't know if they just added weight or if they were bigger or even used an Industrial 30 tractor for the heavier version.

There was one at the 2013 RPR which the owners stated was from 1930. That one had the center mounted blade and rear scarifier. This one shows no evidence of ever having the blade.

Neat piece. There is one the other side of the valley
made from an H farmall. It is in similar
condition....

What part of the steering mechanism is there not to understand. Wouldn't that have been a joy! I wouldn't have wanted to arm-wrestled the operator
