Farmall M Disk Brakes

How can you tell if the farmall M has disk brakes? Without disassembling.

Just look.They look completly different on the outside.The old band brake has a stamped cover.The disk has a 'fancy' cast cover. Maybe some will post pics of each one

There's aftermarket disk brakes for an M as made by Lambert. This will have a smooth cover held on by three bolts.
