Yesterday I and a friend attended a large farm sale near Rantoul,KS..It was a beautiful sunny 73 degree day..The view from this place is fantastic..You could see Ottawa,KS 8 miles to the NW..There were (28) IH tractors on the sale..Heres some of the pictures with the prices sold for..

Those are nice pics. That must be a record for a 560. That is what I started farming with. I always liked the tractors I had 2 of them.

Wow, that's a heck of a price for the 560! I bought my 1962 560 diesel last April with fresh overhaul for $2500!!

Was this all owned by same person? If so they were International people for sure, and must have farmed a lot of acres, thanks for the nice pics, and prices

The loadstar in the picture only brought $1700? That was a deal!!

Yes,the same person owned them all..He was in his mid-late 60's and I talked to him at the sale...That 1600 Loadstar was a steal at $1700....Ottawa,KS just 9 miles away had a strong IH dealer....It was announced at the start of the auction that the family would be bidding on some of the items that sold..

I would have scooped up that smtad very quick.

It ran nice and I thought that it was cheap enough..I guessed it at $5000-6000...Last August I watched a nicely restored Super MTA Diesel sell for $9,000 near Garnett,KS...He had more than that in it..

Deals on 560s are getting harder to find. I bought mine for 3k a couple years ago. I've not seen a better deal locally since. But 8500 is pretty stout! I wonder if there were some family members who really wanted it.
