IH 200 spreader worth?

I saved a IH 200 spreader from the getting scrapped. The floor, apron and beaters are in good shape. It has some rust down where the metal sides meet the floor. The tires are shot but the rims should be ok. The tin shields are there but are a little beat up. I am wanting to sell it and was wondering what it would be worth the way it sits or would it be worth it to put some old truck tires on it.

Old truck tires are not going to get it done. Needs good tires to make it operational or to make it a showpiece...either way. Skirts are important. Too beat up is bad. If the rust on the sides is thru...that isn't good either. If I were your buyer and had to get two good ag tires, repair holes in the sides and straighten (if possible) the skirts then we would be talking no more than $100-200 depending on how bad the metal is. I think it is great you saved it from scrap, though. Now get it into the hands of someone who wants one. Shoot me an e-mail if you are anywhere near Michigan.

I've had truck tires on mine for about 10 years. I only use it a couple times a year when horse manure piles gets too big.
