IH PLOW QUESTION?

I saw what i was told was a IH 312 PLOW. It looked like a semi
mount plow that was hooked to the fast hitch? I think it was a 3-16
plow. I have never seen a 312 plow before. are the any good how
do they compare to the oliver/white plows of the day. I like oliver
plows. but how good of a plow are these ih 300 series.

I've got one also, there very similar to a IHC NO. 60 or 70 plow, as far as shares,shin straps,and moldboards etc.I use mine for plow day, in the fall, i got the extra deep suction shares, and i have no problem getting it in the ground, trust me.I even got a full size gauge wheel on the stubble side.

312 is the model and they sold a bunch of them.

I forgot to say IHC plows have a deep suck attachment, i think the only one that does.I don't have a problem with the Oliver/White plow, except they chop the nose off there shares before you buy them, and they wear on the frog before they should. Buy the 312, you will like it!
