Hydro 84 Oil Question

Does a hydro 84 tractor run regular IH hy-tran or do they run on automatic transmission fluid? Mine is a little low on the dipstick.

Hytran!! ATF will destroy your hydro transmission. you need to order a book,ASAP.How long has it been since you changed Transmission oil? I'll bet it's never been changed....Better change it now.

Clay is a tractor and farm equipment reseller in Wisconsin, Delta. I doubt he would be willing to buy a manual for everything that he sells. --Lee

If he is a re-seller (He could be considered a dealer) and might want to look into the legal troubles of not supplying an operators manual with each resale!

I don't know the sales laws in Iowa, Roger, but in Indiana there's no stipulation that you get an owner's manual when buying a used tractor from an implement/tractor dealer. --Lee
