There are still some of us that like the gray ones Jimmy. In planning for the Red Power Roundup (featuring the pre-1939 tractors) I'm hearing a LOT of positive comments and guys are planning to pull that old Farmall or whatever out of the shed. It's not often we get these gems in the spotlight.

Hi Howard, you are making me want to come over and bring my nice original 1923 10-20 tractor. Here in the UK we have a large following of unrestored IH tractors going back to the early Moguls and Titans. MJ

jimmy I have my granddads f20 I just got it semi restored last year. will paint this year and then ill give it to my grandson. man do love that tractor. ( and iam jd man) thanks Bob

Oh I have a few , 36 , 37 ,39 F-20s , a couple 37 F-30 narrow treads , 34 W-30 and next up a 22-36 . I love the old beasts and my 39 F-20 is my favorite plow day pick . Can't beat the sound of it pulling through a really tough spot in our NE Indiana and NW Ohio clay .

Oh they're not out of the woods yet! Plenty of F series around here still just sitting in the trees and fence lines that are waiting for their moment. Grandpa has an original grey F20 that runs like a kitten (when it runs)... And I got ahold of a very nice F14 few years ago on a local estate sale that had around 100 JDs and about only one Farmall. It's a little slow and under powered but sure do enjoy it.

Well, that would be nice! But I'd hardly ask you to bring a tractor over the water! I would like to see a few of you UK guys at the show.

The F series are great, I have regular,F12, F14 on steel, F20, F30, W30,T20, 10-20. Hope to get a 15-30,and a W40. Kept on restoring.

I have an 1938 F20. Have had H's and M's, they come and go. But for some reason I held on to the F20. Though the bull gears grumble like an sob, and it smokes due to poor compression(rings or valve), and the clutch chatters and bounces like mad when letting it out. It is a real mess, but I like it. Like others have said, there are ALOT more of them F series stuffed into barns than is talked about. But I know there are tons of them squirreled away. It is fun to use it for wagon pulling and crap like that.
