I have a SMTA I am looking for a heavyer seat spring saw one I think on e-bay a while back, any help would be appreciated,Thanks,Pete.

Has been discussed before. My old H owner's manual says the original spring for the H has 4 notches in the top coil, and rates for 180# when compressed to 5inches. Heavyweight operators [ 220# ] has 5 notches, lightweight spring [ 140# ] has 3 notches.
My new spring from eBay some time ago had no notches, but I was afraid of failure so I ordered one. A persoon can sometimes stick a football isnide, and re-inflate for more pressure.

Easy way to get the rite tension for your body is put a football in and adjust air pressure to suit. If you find the rite listing they do make them in different wts

Bates Corporation out of Bourbon, Indiana has them (new). I got one for my 450 and I think its a little stiff for me but it doesn't bottom out like the old one and I weigh 225 lbs.

If you replace bushings and new shock absorber along with new spring which also helps stiffen up the ride.
