pilot bushing

I am doing a clutch job on my 1949 cub and am not sure would you lube the pilot bushing or leave it dry. grease or oil Randy

A lite greasing is fine but be sure to use a bushing driver to install to avoid getting a ridge on the bushing that will bind the input shaft making a drag on that shaft so the gears will stop when the clutch is enguaged.
