Farmall B N narrowing up like the A?

First thing to do is put some weight on the right wheel. The A had a cast wheel on the right to help hold it down. I have seen 2 BNs that were done that way, and both had been rolled.
 
Easy just remove the diff housing . Then you will need to remove the brake drum on the diff shaft and plate on the outside of the final drive so the shaft can come out of the final. Install the As drive shaft and then brake drum and then the final can be bolted back to the BNs tranny. Makes a nice set-up for a mower as the rim and tire can be spaced for which width you like. I add a wt to the inside of the center section. Ive done it several times for mowing.
 
About 4 years ago I built a BA. Front half from the transmission forward is a B and the transmission back is an A. I use it to mow hay every year and works good for that. I have duals on the narrow side to help keep it from flipping over
