I hope that this does not violate any rules on this forum as far as advertising. However I know that a lot of folks are looking for a source for antique plow wear parts and I just wanted to share this information. It is an email that I received this morning.

John,
Bill Sanders was the owner of Crescent Forge and he must have forwarded your contact info. when we were discussing if there was much interest in products.

I will be starting off with I-H 0552, 0554, 0556 plow shares. I have made some Spear Points out of steel for PLow Chief bottoms, I will be working on forging some. I will be getting additional tooling to do moldboards as well as landsides. I am currently working on my structure and furnace as it was 7 degrees this am. I have tooling for I-H, Deere, Moline, Ford-Ferguseon shares. I am currently working on some Oliver moldboards for the 100 plowmaster and finished some Moline CY142-A 14" shares.

This is a new start up and there will be more tooling coming and new tooling to come depending on the interest.
I will be making limited parts for Case, AC, and Oliver. I am also working on some tooling to mfg. shares for some walking plows and sulky plows. Please be patient as I have to make all new fixtures on tooling.

I have recently worked with several Amish and English in Illinios , and in Ohio holding plow events where we have been recording plow performance on all makes and models this has proved to be a valuable asset in our plow business. I have discussed having one possibly this spring with several people in Pa.
Let me know if you have interest and what part of the state you are located.

The name of our co. is Ploworx and the e-mail is - [email protected] or (330) 332-9386

I do look forward to hearing from you in the future.
Steve

Steve stopped in last fall and showed me one of the MM shares and it looked nice. In a later conversation he said the buyer was very happy with their performance. He had a few others in the truck that looked well-constructed, too.

He's also talking about making the deep suck shares sometime in the future for newer Oliver, Case, and perhaps more bottoms.

He should have a small ad in the next "Green Magazine".

He's in Ohio. We've been in contact with him about the possibility of getting IHC 0560 shares in the future.

Yea he is in OHIO and by the phone # if it is a landline then he is in Salem Ohio , now as to where in Salem Ohio ??? i have no idea as i have found NOTHING yet . Is he a fly-by nite deal or is he in one of the old shops,???/ Is he out in the new industrial park?? I'll have to look into this a little more .

He's not a "fly-by nite deal".

I will have to take a DRIVE out to quack Creek rd. as i know the area since it is only about five miles from me and i do not know of any REAL mfg. set up out there . Basic small farm ground with yuppy housing . and in years gone by the local Non sanctioned late night drag strip up on the northern end.

Why this site deletes everything when I go to do a simple edit, I don't know.

Anyway, I believe he's set up on his farm. Steve bought quite a bit of CF&S's tooling needed to make these parts.
