we had a rather chilly dawn today 34 deg not bad for east tex. i work the night shift and when i came in i walked over to Charlie and tried a cold start. turn the gas on no choke and pulled the starter rod.

Charlie came to life just as easy as he does when its 75deg no moning or groning and then purrred like a little kitten

Charlie is my SC

.........Bring Charlie up here. We're right at 0° these nights.
Just funin' ya. Not bad with your SC.

Charlie is my 53 super c that im putting back to work. he is still in his work clothes and loves getting huggs from my two girls.

We've got to retrain you on the definition of cold and chilly. My H will start right up in single digit temps and that's nothing for temp for a lot of parts of the country. I believe the letter series Farmalls were the best starting tractors ever made if everything on them is in good shape and especially if they have been changed to 12V.

We had an old H for a while, and if it would turn over, it would
start. Several times it was the only tractor that would start at
-25 temps in MN. And it was still 6 volt too. Eventually sold it to
the original owners grandson. He sure was happy to get it!
