No.But you can make it work. You will need 1066 frame
rails. The hood will need to be 'stretched and other
mods will need to be doneOther parts as well be
needed. Other, more knoledgeable people will chime
in.This has been discussed here several times
before.

Nothing is a "direct" bolt in. The closest/easiest would be replaceing a C263 with a C291 or 301. Or a D282 with a D310 german. What seems to be the problem? bad motor? or just want more power?

Are you wanting a stock bolt in ,or do you want to change frame rails? Any engine 5 hp Briggs&Stratton up could be installed we need to know what modifications you are will I g to do.

im looking for more power. can change frame rails if needed but didn't really want to.what can I do to this motor?

What Motor? if a diesel,a turbo is the easiest/cheapest. I have a 706 with the 310 german. Turbocharged, makes 96(measured) hp. Maybe easier/cheaper to just trade 'up'. Another thing,If you do a 'repower',you may end up with a franken tractor that nobody will want.Worthless at resale. If you dont care about that, then go for it!

5.9L Cummins.

It would be cheaper to buy a field-ready 806 or 1206, but with enough money you can get the engine mounts and flywheel to make it a bolt-in using the stock frame rails. Then with enough boost, fuel, and RPM, you can get a few hundred HP out of it.

If you can find a front engine cover for a D312 from 666 -686 series tractors it will fit in the original frames. Another option is to cut equal amounts off both front mounts for the 400 series front cover.
