When I tore down the head on my SA 2 of these retainers were missing. Do any of you have a couple you are willing to sell?

They are often just omitted by shops doing valve jobs.

Their purpose was to keep the valve from dropping into the cylinder with the top keepers removed, and that is a pretty unusual feature out of all the different cylinder heads that have ever been made.

That being said, they are readily available from the FIAT dealer for about $2 each.

Bob likes to tell everyone that Fiat owns CaseIH, or CNH which includes CaseIH and New Holland. Fiat also owns Chrysler. If you find a Fiat dealer, they will be selling Fiat cars, not tractors. You could say I own a Fiat Jeep.

Yeah, 'cuz FIAT Industrial was rolled into the CNH part of FIAT in 2012!
