Little oil top end farmall h

I have over hauled a farmall h and am getting little oil pressure at the top end of the motor it is cold out and I'm using 40 weight oil and am not seeing much oil at the top the cam bearings where changed but I saw careful to align the holes in the center bearing which feeds the top end. There is no obstruction at the head gasket. I need some guesses. Thanks

You won't see full oil flow at the rocker arms. Don't know how long you run the tractor, but if you are getting a little oil I would guess cold weather, tractor operating temperature and 40 weight oil could be one cause.

40 wt is a bit too thick.Maybe for 100* and working
the snot out of.For this time of year and 'poopin' around the yard, use 20 wt. Or just
use 10/30,or 15/40.year around.As was said,you will
not ever get full flow oil up top. as long as you
get some oil dripping a bit from across the rocker
shaft, you are just fine. That area really does not
need much oil.Btw,I use 15/40 in my SH. The same oil
that is used in all my (15) gas/diesel
tractors,autos,trucks,lawn mowers,4
wheelers........I have NEVER had an oil related failure. One oil for everything.Simple
