3 pt hitch on 806

Looking to buy a 1964 806 the 3 pt hitch will not go all the way down when the tractor is running.it will leak down after it sets. the owner said that it had a bent rod in the lift. if so how to fix it? works good from half way up. If not what could be the problem?

You can pull the third link cover off the back, and see some of the linkage to the 3 pt. I think it is only the draft sensing part though.

If the three point does not go down till it leaks down then the draft sensing is the problem and like delta red told ya remove the top link plate and look in on the right side and you will see and arm-lever coming up from the bottom and you will see a arm - lever hanging downfrom the top . If the top one is inft. of the bottom one then ya need to pull it back and arond the bottom one and all will be well. . NOW A NOTE OF caution here the top one has heavy spring pressure against it and things can be vary sharp in there .

Thanks tractor vet I will take a look at that hope that is all it is. just got it paid $2500. for it . I am in north Carolina. it sat for a year not running got it started runs very good.
