super a valves

I am rebuilding the head on my 53 SA. I do not have the serial number but the engine serial number says it is 53. I removed the valves and measured them, 4.934. This matches neither of the 2 kits I see listed. One of the valves has a number, NUKROME 295EX. The number on the others is worn away. Am I safe to go with the 4 57/64 valves?

The length you give would be a 57798D IH valve which is for a gasoline head above serial no
255418.

And even more confused. There are 2 numbers on the top of the head, 251172-R2 L and 3-26-X. The head of the valves measure 1.154 and 1.342. The cylinder bore measures about 3.184 + a little carbon. I could sure use whatever info y'all can muster.

on the cyl. bore u are measuring with the carbon build up , need to emery carbon off before you can get accurate measure.

Could this engine be a C123. The bore is 3.184 + a bit of carbon buildup. Could that be 3.125 bore and 0.060 over. What Is the difference between C113 and C123? Are the heads the same. If it matters I have flat top piston and no water pump. The head gasket has number 366301R1, the gasket cylinder diameter is about 3.538, and one side of the cylinder diameter has a flat. The block serial number is FAAM 329352 G.

That block should be the one used in the Super C and later Super A, 123 in the Super C, 113 with thicker sleeves in the Super A. Your head gasket is the correct one for an engine with no water pump. There is/was available a thin wall piston/sleeve that was 1/16 overbore from 123 (3-3/16 bore). It appears that may be what you have.
