iH 986 dash lights and dimmer switch

Gauge lights all work fine but backlight for tach and the two protruding lights in upper corners of dash don't work. Been looking online for the original style dimmer switch that controls them with no luck. Anyone have an idea where to find that or other ideas of what may be wrong?

If you connect the two wires together at the dimmer switch the lights should work if the switch is the problems.

The switch, 121705C91, is still listed in the online parts from CNH.

Saturn used a similar switch from 95 and newer for the SL, SC, and SW series cars. I don't know if it would be a direct replacement for what you have.
