Will a ensign carburetor work with a impco regulator. This is on a 263 engine. TIA

It should not matter. I have an H with missmatched
brands.

The main thing is to make sure you have the correct opening pressure. Usually regulators are set up to open at 1/2" water column or the more common 1 1/2" WC. A lot of the Ensign mixers were designed to use 1/2" WC. IMPCO regulators are normally set for 1 1/2" WC. It is just a matter of using the correct spring to get the right pressure.

I think it's the blue spring that is good for up to fifty horsepower. Yes, you can use the Impco with the Ensign carburetor, I did it for a long time on my LP 450 and worked pretty good.
