Has Anyone Dealth With Clyde Berkshire Recently??

I tried calling Berkshire Implement Co. in Royal Center, Indiana looking for some IH parts today and got a recording indicating his listed phone no. is no longer a working number. I have obtained several items from him in the past and he had a large inventory of older NOS parts from hundreds of closed IH dealer acquisitions. Has anyone had any recent dealing with him or his company and I know he was getting up in years and maybe he sold out or auctioned off everything. Anyone know the status of his NOS parts or who might have acquired them? Thanks for any responses in this matter, Hal.
 
I was up past his place today and his car was parked out front. This was about 2 this afternoon. I will check with a friend of mine up in that area and see if he knows anything. Give me a couple days unless it's an emergency. Larry
 
Larry, thanks for the information and a couple of days are fine. If you saw my thread a little way down on the first page needing a NOS PTO shaft you will know the main reason I was attempting to contact them. I've been working on this rake for eight years (mainly finding the needed parts) and he has been helpful in the past. A couple of days is not an issue and thanks for the offer on how to make contact with them, Hal.
 
It's been about a year since I have stopped in. I struck out with my obscure wish list of about 2 dozen parts.

I don't know if it helps, but the area code has switched from 219 to 574 a few years back.

I had the old area code of 219 which AG in IN noted had changed a few years ago to 574. I will try again later today - thanks for the information, Hal.
 
I checked with my friend who said as far as he knows Clyde usually comes in during the forenoon hours of 10 to about noon. Remember Clyde is somewhere in the neighborhood of 92. His son comes in in the afternoon hours but don't think he answers the phone. Just what I was told. Good luck hope this helps. Larry
