Farmall M countershaft

Just a quick question about my M, i currently have
it split because the main shaft pilot bearing went
bad. While its apart i want to replace the seal on
the counter shaft where the coupler for the hyd pump
is. Can this seal be replaced without pulling out
the entire counter shaft??

Yes, the drive coupling unscrews CCW looking at it (normal threads). Expect it to be tight, impact helps. once there it is obvious. Jim
