working trying to get a 1964 706D to run replaced fuel with new ,can get fuel to all injectors by loosing line at each one and retighten them but still cannot get it to fire .this tractor had a major engine rebuild about 5 yrs back and probably hasn't been ran over 10 hrs at the most since the gentleman who owned it got sick and parked it in his barn at that time, so looking for suggestions as what to try or do THANKS for any replys

The glow plugs HAVE to work for those to start. They need to 'glow'/heat for one minute.more if the engine is low on compression.

tp in ia, I have an old 64 706 w/ a 282 Dsl that was in the same position as you old girl. I can tell you how to start it as it is But it is easier for me to explain over the Phone than to type for over 1hr and still not get it all said!
Call me Sat sometime and I will talk you through it. My # is 512-577-3837. Look forward to a visit and helping you get yours going.
Later,
John A.

As said above you need the glow plugs to work. Take a test light and make sure your switch is working. If it's not you need a heavy duty replacement switch. I think 30 amp if my memory is working right tonight.
