'49 c distributor

They are on ebay at a dealer NAPA or any p-lace that sells bushings. First you need to remove the old one so you can get a new one that will fit cause you will take it with you when getting the new replacement.
 
Ok, well I will take it to a bearing supply shop, thought maybe there were parts available but I hope the bearing guys have them. Thanks
 
I told you ebay has them its just a common bushing nothing realy special. Lowes mite even have them thats why you need the old one so you can get a new one to match.
 
CaseIH has them but they are not cheap. It is a porous bushing and made to size. Cannot be reamed or honed or it will destroy porosity of bushing. Many years ago they WERE not available and we tried bushing suppliers in vain trying to find them. Never quite the right one.
 
IH bushing is number 373577R91 and was recommended to be installed with a .4910 diameter shaft inside it to eliminate sizing the ID after installation.
