New Farmall C series

Been shopping around for a new 50-75hp utility/light duty chore tractor from the red, green, and orange dealers. So far the cabs seem small and uncomfortable in the smaller compact sizes. (The L series kubota and 4 series JD) The 5 series JD cab seems bigger. Going to go look at the new Farmall C series today. Does anyone here have experience with the new 50c or 75c tractors?

Main duties will be running a loader, snowblower, brush hog, and light duty tillage. Currently have an H and 300 to handle this stuff, but a cab would sure be nice for moving snow.

Most of the caseih line tractors are actually made by new
holland. I looked at the c line and didn't partically care for
them. Talked with a few guys that had them and they
weren't thrilled with there performance. I ended up buying
a used 2003 jd 5520 with a loader and very low hours. I
worked. For a deere dealer at the time and got a great deal.
With that being said if you look at a deere I would highly
recomend going with the 5m series tractors. The 5e series
are their bottom of the line tractors, they aren't made as
high of quality as the m series, weaker rear/3pt, don't have
the trans options like a m series, and a bit lighter. The m
series tractors have been a great tractor with very few
problems. We sold quite a few to golf courses (who destroy
everythin) and never had any come in for major repairs. If i
were to buy a m series tractor i would look for a used pre
2012 that does not have the tier 4 emissions. Good luck
with your search jim.…

Thanks Jim! I tested out a 5075E with cab, which wasn't as optioned like the 4 series, but I liked the space and visibility in the cab.

If I was going to recomend a tractor I would recomend the
5085M with the power reverser trans...as far as a loader for
it I would go with the h310 with is self leveling. If buying
used and as loader installed look for a 563 self leveling
loader. U wont be disappointed with the 5085m alot better
tractor then the 5075E, the 5065M is nice as well, same
tractor with same options just a bit smaller and a few less
ponies. Jim.
