No there is not. If you look at the wiring diagram in the parts manual it incorrectly shows one in the coil circuit. The correct wiring diagram is in the Service Manual. There is a resistor, but it is in the alternator circuit. It is used to drop the alternator feedback voltage to the coil after the ignition switch is turned OFF.
