IH 444 Throwout Bearing Noise?

I bought my first International Harvester. It is a 1970 IH 444 gas with a loader. I tried it out around the farmette a little bit, it did great. I checked the fluids as per the manual, it seemed the hydraulic fluid was almost empty. I filled it with A LOT of fluid. Got back on the tractor, started it up and it was making a new noise. Someone told me it is the throwout bearing. Does that make sense? Why would clutch make noise after filling the hydraulics? Coincidence or did I do something wrong?

As someone who is fairly mechanically inclined but learning how to fix tractors myself as I go, I appreciate the help.

Hi, the throw out bearing should only make a
noise when it contacts the pressure plate
fingers. Check the return spring on the clutch
petal is returning clutch to the top stop.
There should be about 3/4 inch free play on
clutch pedal before the throw out bearing
contacts the pressure plate fingers.
Clutch adjustment is in the Operator's Manual.

Is it a buzzing noise from hydraulic housing
under the seat? Did you over fill the hydraulic
reservoir? The reservoir is not very large and
with a loader with hydraulic bucket etc. I
would loosen the reservoir and operate loader
and bucket to see if hydraulic oil or air is
forced out the filler plug.

Thank you very much JimB. I will try both suggestions within the next few days and post the results.
The noise is down low, more of a bang than a buzz.

Also, maybe I over filled the trans fluid. The manual says trans capacity depends on if equipped with front mounted hydro pump and if that pump is with/without draft control. I will have to figure out if this tractor has front pump and which type.

I used hydro-trans fluid in both the hydro reservoir and the trans. Is the "modern" hydro-trans fluid OK for these older tractors?

Since you posted the tractor was a 444 and not a 2444 it would be unusual for it to have a front crankshaft driven hydraulic pump. That was on option for the industrial models, not the ag models.

The transmission level plug is located under the right running board by the parking brake latch.
