Hopkins farm

I'm new to this tractor I have a 656 international hydro. The tractors work lights aren't working and there are wires hanging down. I can't get any fire on my test light. Does this tractor have a fuse panel? If so where? Tractor runs fine and everything works except lights.

Hopkins, A 656 has basically 4 wiring harnesses!
1..Front,, +- $50
2..Rear, AKA-Main,,+- $180
3..Right panel,, +- $90
4..Left panel,, +- $90
If yours is an older 656 w/a 282 Dsl there are 2 more 3 glow plug ea harnesses,,$40 x 2= $80
IH prices!
It may be less aggravation to get a new harness than mess with a hacked up, brittle, dryed out mess of a harness, the Switch may be bad too!
Hope this helps

Nope, no fuse panel. Just one BUSS fuse in the dashboard for the lights, if that hasn't been bypassed.

If you pick up an owner's manual, there is a wiring diagram for the tractor in the back, which you will need whether you fix what you have or decide on a new harness.

Pull the dash panel to get to the back of the light switch. There you can test for "fire" and run a new wire to the lights if you choose.
