PTO seal for a Super H

You can always tell the new guys or those old guys like me that haven't been on the forums for a while, post post post! Nice to be back. Haven't been on here since I finally parted with my 9N (good riddance)
Here is my current question. I need a seal for the PTO. Can I get this at auto parts store and if so, how do I describe or come up with a part number for what I need? I have searched for this briefly and don't see H or super H come up. I could imagine this seal might be rather standard size. what other models would use the same size seal, M's or C's maybe?

I don't recall the sizes but when I had my H I got a seal at NAPA. Just park it with the front end lower, remove the two bolts on either side of the PTO and measure the ID and OD you need. It is an easy job. When you have put the new seal in the retainer and are ready to put it on the tractor wrap a piece of paper around the splines on the PTO so they don't nick the new seal and make it leak. Once you have slid the seal past the spines you're home free.

There is usually a number on the seal. If you can get it take that to Napa and they can match it up. Have you tried a Case/IH dealer. I think they still have them. If you're like me I hate to remove the old one unless I have the new one in hand. A bad seal is better than no seal in case I have a problem finding one.

FIAT 45702D

National 6200

SKF 13671

Likely, the replacement seals will be half the width of the original..

2 can be installed, back-to-back.

You can get seals, bearings etc....... at NAPA. Just give them a part number and they can cross and match.Better still take the old part as a sample.I use NAPA for lots of that kind of stuff. They also sell OH kits, etc for farm tractors.

The entire parts breakdown of the tractor can be found at partstore.caseih.com. Diagrams, parts lists, even online ordering from the CaseIH dealer of your choice.

Here is the diagram for the Super H PTO:

Looks like the seal is IH part number 45702D, same as the "FIAT" number.

You can also take that part number you look up, and cross it on NAPA's website. Just put the part number in the search field and click on the "Interchange" checkbox above the search field. If there is a cross, it will show up. Then you can even see if your favorite NAPA store has it in stock, or pre-order it so they will have it waiting for you in a day or two.

NAPA part is NOS 13671, same as the SKF number.

would you recommend two, or is one sufficient? By the way, you guys are amazing, I just got off the phone with my NAPA store up the street. He will have it sent from warehouse to this store by 11 am this morning. Thank you, all!
