You got your self a early super H, Made possibly in the first month or six weeks of production, It's also referred to a generation 1. They were made in Rock Island,Illinois , as far as i know! Also it came with a Rockford clutch.

Harry is correct. It was made at the Farmall Works in Rock Island,IL sometime during the month of February in 1953 according to the serial number lists available in the McCormick Archives section at the Wisconsin Historical Society website. February was the 1st month of production for the Super H. Actually ,the early SH`s ( with the transmission driven hydraulics) are referred to as Stage 1, and the later ones with live hydraulics as Stage 2.

Chicago was where their main office was located.
The Farmall plant in Rock Island was west of Chicago on the Illinois, Iowa border.

I have Super H 1854 J , just 25 away from yours. Built in early '53. Just out of curiosity is your motor serial number 2126? It will be stamped into the block on a raised casting below # 3 spark plug - above the crank case breather. Are you in Pa.?
Thanks, Pat
