686 IHC high low clutch

Is the release bearing moving completely away from the fingers with the TA lever forward?

If the new pressure plate came with either bolts or some other method of keeping the levers collapsed for installation did they get removed?

Do you mean the torque amplifier (TA)?

Hmm, it shouldn't "slip" in high. If the TA clutch is slipping the tractor should continue to drive in low.

Is that what is happening? If so then your problem is with the TA clutch. Either it's installed wrong or adjusted wrong.

If the tractor is stopping completely you have a problem with the main clutch.

Yes the TA clutch.Works fine in low but slips in high. The main clutch is working fine. I will check the adjustment on the TA clutch.
