Last week the problem was my '41H wouldn't start after I rebuilt the head. (topic was entitled "'41H won't start").
I figured I had a bad coil, and so ordered one. I also decided to go electronic and ordered the mating electronic ignition kit.
Today, the stuff arrived. I installed the new coil and the tractor fired right up. I went to install the electronic ignition and ... wait - it doesn't fit.
First, the base plate that goes onto the distributor base physically doesn't fit. Next the magnetic pickup is significantly smaller in diameter and won't go onto the distributor shaft. (Distributor shaft is.5625 inches in diameter)
So, I thought I have a '41H, 6V system. Based on the pics, am I missing something?
