I'm making progress on my project....

I have run into a holdup in finding the front wheel inner seals though... Any suggestions?

Here are a few pics:

The day I picked it up. 1935 by SN. From everything I read, the tractor should be gray... I found remnants of the original paint when working on it.

Here is another question about the front wheels. I have searched high and low and the "dust shield?" Seems to be broken on every one I've seen.

Rice equipment in PA is the place to go. Looks like you picked up a tractor in decent shape from the beginning. I have a F14 that I use occasionally to cultivate corn or pull a hay rake. They are fun little tractors. I've got to take mine apart and paint it someday when there is more time in a day.

The 'dust gards' you show are correct. they are only
a half (top half) circle. They look
good/undamaged.Turn that one over so it covers the
top of the bearing/seal.

My brother in law owns Route 66 restoration in Kennett, MO. They are a PPG dealer. I brought in an old paint code and we mixed it, but I thought it was too dark, so we played with the mix and got the color I wanted. If I remember right, the paint, reducer, and hardener cost me about $325.

Great work! The color choice looks alot like mine, or I hope it will.

Mine is a '34. Weather permitting, may be painting within a week or so.

It's amazing that after millions of miles, the transmission gears in these old girls still look like new !

Owner of an F12 since the late 60's here. Kind of a family pet now.

(quoted from post at 15:55:30 10/22/14) I gotta ask, why is the floor jack down in the hole? You are doing a super job!

Thanks!

Well... On the jack.. I had a piece of 2x4 to use as a spacer to jack up the front and it was a couple inches long. I didn't have a saw handy, but did have a shovel. ;-)

What a nice looking machine you have and a good job
of restoring it. I had one back in the late '60s and
sold it
