1975 Cub with IH finnish mower question.

I bought a 75 Cub a while back and did the mowing here with it for a few months and it did ok. Then the belt started slipping and I noticed it has 3 belts on it. Is that right? I would have thought it would have 1 large one. Any thoughts on this?

Possibly, the Finlanders have a different outlook on things!

On the other hand, is the mower aftermarket, or an IH product?

If IH, figure out what the model it is and look it up at the CIH PartsStore, or surf over to Rudi's Cubs for all sorts of GURU advice.

The IH mower has 3, the Woods has 1. Well, my 3160 has 3, and has always had 3 belts. I bought it from the original owner, and he gave me the spares he had.

John M is correct. The IH and Danco mowers use 3 belts.

Also would help to know which Cub, LoBoy, number series, regular?? Definately need to ID the mower, IH or aftermarket (there were several made).
