IHC corn sheller

I had been eyeying an old corn sheller at a little antique shop for about a month and finally broke down and bought it.

$200. Nothing broke or bent, original, faded paint, and the IHC decal is in fair to good condition. All metal, no wood anywhere.

One small rust hole, but otherwise is ready to use.

Now I gotta get busy and find some standing corn so I can hand pick some for next years show.

I can't find any kind of model #, so have no Idea how old.

Anybody mess with these things?

Gene

I've got one - IHC, wood body, don't know the model #. I did about a half ton of corn one year before I found a belt driven one. I understand why the old timers found a way to put a motor on them.

Shoot you should have said something. My mom has one in her shop building and it has been there for 25 plus years now and we would have sold it to you.

Denny, it is identical to your. Except yours is several grades better than mine, better paint and the decals are sharper and clearer, and in better shape on yours. Of course mine does not have the belt pully either.

LOL. Ya it has been in that building for decades now. Has the option of belt drive as in flat belt or hand crank and if I remember right even a chain drive set up
