1947 Super A hydraulic pump

All my hy tran is in the pan so I need to rebuil it or get a new
one. It's an Alcoa 360687R92, I can't find any rebuild kits and
the part # always comes back to a farmall c so maybe it was
replaced at some point. Can anyone point me in the right
direction to find a rebuild kit or if I have to shell out the coin
what pump can I replace it with and where is the best place to
buy a quality pump. I haven't contacted the closest dealer yet
and I doubt they'd be much help. Thanks in advance

a and c maybe same pump.

there is a o ring seal on the shaft. maybe what is the problem.

Chess, your pump ain't an "ALCOA", but it was apparently cast of ALCOA aluminum.

I think if you dig deep enough in the archives here those that have gone before you have posted some "O" ring and seal info.

Depending on which pump you have its either an o-ring or a seal and you wont knoe till you have it apart and just mite need a speedy sleeve on the shaft if the place where the seal goes. You dont need a kit but mite want to replace the o-rings where the line attaches.

I took the pump apart and it has a seal so i assume it is a Pesco pump. the seal number is 98-212 CR. Im trying to get the seal from a parts place here but they havent been able to find that part number. Does anyone have another seal part number? also does anyone have a part number for the speedy sleeve and for the o rings inside the pump and on the hydraulic lines? thanks

Not sure where you're having problems on the parts site... It's easy-peasy.

The link above takes you to the model search. You just type "Super A" into the place where it says "search for model" and hit ENTER.

All the matches for Super A are displayed in the window below the search bar.

Click on "(Super A) Farmall Tractor (1/47-12/53)", then click on "(07) - HYDRAULIC SYSTEM".

my 1st mistake was trying to look at it on my iphone while sitting in tree stand. when i get to (238) hydraulic touch control pump, it shows 2 different pumps both with #6 as the seal but with different part #s. i cant tell which part number is for the seal i need or does the seal have 2 part #s.

I recently went through this on a 'C', same pumps.
3 or 4 different brands, some with O Ring some with seals and two different size shafts for the type with lip seals.
Lip Seal for 5/8'' shaft use SKF6229
Lip Seal for 3/4'' shaft use SKF7443
Both had same OD of 1.25''
SKF # same as CR#
I needed the one for 3/4'' shaft, Napa had it in stock
