Just remember that the BD308 piston use a smaller
diameter wrist pin than the WA/WK40, and you will be
giving up compression with the DB308 pistons.

Kirk, I remember when the 10-20 wasn't much more than that! I see front axle is back together.
looking good! oldiron29

A tractor before its time!

If IHC had kept making W-40s, we wouldn't see nearly as many "Green" tractors today. In other words, IHC would not have been caught with their pants down in 1960!

Venerable, a real beauty.
It seems to me we take this for granted, too much, that we can start up a nearly-100-year-old machine, and drive her around, and run her upo and down the field. It just amazing.
I guess what I'm saying, imagine, if when these machines were built, say 1925 or so or whatever, that somebody could have started and run a machine built in 1825?? Would have been just astounding.

Combination of straight cut gears and they are 80 years old after all. Loud transmission gears seems to be common in the W40s as others I have seen whine just as much.
