Super h distributor

Can anybody tell me what distributor is on a 1953 super h or
how to tell mine is missing the tag and was wanting to install
electronic ignition but was told there is 2 different kits and ne
the tag number to figure out. The tractor is still set up as a 6
volt positive ground and am going to a 12 neg ground

I have a 53 Super H, I'll check & see if mine still has the tag, have'nt had much time for it as of late, check it after I get home from church, Alan

If you have an IH distributor, points look like THIS:

If you have a Delco distributor, points look like THIS:

Pertronix for IH version = #1442

Pertronix for Delco version = #1142

It apears to have a353893RI so I believe it is a ih distributor

If it is actually #353898R1, that would DEFINITELY be an Ih distributor.

Y u say that that is hard to read but stamped in housing
