1949 Farmall Cub won't start

Battery fully charged. When try to start, nothing happens. If I hook up 12v booster box, tractor runs as long as the booster box is hooked up and on.
 
If you have good connections and read 6v to the coil when engine cranks it will start. Using 12v passes enough volts to make it run.
 
clean all electric battery connections; with emphasis on ground cable. remove ground cable from tractor and clean that part.
