case ih 595 tran noise rdiling

Hi tractor is 595 2 speed power tran it makes kind of a radiling sound only on the high side of ta when you push cluth in it stops let it out it stars back up when you go from 1 to 4 gear siting still it make same sound in all gears iam new to the tractor but think this is not normal ?

Hi 151, my brother's 454 has being doing that for 20+ years and it has well over 15,000 Hrs on it.
I did play with Rev/Neutral/Hi/Lo shift lever and found when sitting in Neutral and if you move the lever more towards Rev position the transmission rattle will stop. Most rattle occurs when shift lever 1 to 4 is in 4. I suspect it has something to do with syncros partially engaged.

Maybe someone will know the exact cause.

thank you I found that mine will quit when I bring the rpms up to 750 800 it is idling low any
way at 600 rpms I will adj it up book says to 750 to 800 I think works good just a litte noise low rpm if I adjust it up maybe it will just be fine it does go away with clucth in to at any rpm i should change fluid and filter have not done that just got finished up long block engine rebuild thank you for the help have a great one
