buying a 504

I'm going to look at a farmall 504 to possibly replace my International 606. Both are diesels. I want a more versatile farm tractor for my produce farm and the 504 has adjustable wheels and a TA. I know it has about 5 horses less but I'm supposing it can still run my equipment except maybe a 12 ft disk. I think twice as many speed options will make running my 2 bottom plow and small baler much better. I'd appreciate any input on the 504 and my train of thought.

It was rated for a 3 bottom mounted plow from the factory, you should do fine with it. If you lift the disc a little you should be able to pull it alright. I just sold my gas version last week,it was replaced with a 656 Hydro with a loader.
