Looking to get rid of a McCormick Farmall 460 not running---what could I expect to get to scrap it? (In Texas).

You can expect about 50 questions about where is it and how much would you take for it as-is by posting your thinly-veiled forsale ad here...

Nice tactic, throwing the scrap threat in there.

Figure about 5000lbs of metal there, so around $400 for scrap. Maybe more if you haul it in yourself. You can probably get $500-$600 selling it as a parts tractor.

Not sure about your area, but depending on how rough it is, you could possibly get more just selling it. is any of the sheet metal there? Heck, I'll buy the grill of you right now if it has a good one if you're going to scrap it. I'll give you twice the scrap value of the grill, heck make it 4 times scrap of the grill

But $4-500 is going to be your scrap value.

My son sold parts off a 460 with wide front for $1500 , lost of parts to consider, the block had a hole in it.
