Fast Hitch Adapter Question

I went to mount a post hole auger on my 300U and found that the fast hitch with straight adapters is not wide enough for the auger frame. Didn't take a measurement, but the auger frame was probably about 3 inches wider than what would fit between the adapters.

Has anyone designed any fast hitch adapters with an offset to fit wider 3-point implements? Any pictures/descriptions would be helpful.

My fast hitch setup is the right width for a fast hitch drawbar to fit in correctly and, with adapters, has worked for other 3-point implements: rotary mower, blade, etc.

First thing I would do is see if you can switch the 3 pt pins to face inward. Might work. Failing that, there are more than one adapter type out there. Maybe another style would work. PHD is one of the worst things to put on the 300U here.

Fast hitch points are 28" on center.

Category 1 3pt implements have 26" between the pins.
Category 2 3pt implements have 32" between the pins.

There are adapter bars with an offset to work with either. Set them with the offset out for Category 2, and swap them left-for-right to put the offset in for Category 1. Some even have balls with both sized holes in them.

I need pressure Valve complete IH NO. 15 236 EAX. This valve body mounts onto exhaust manifold. If anyone has one or knows somewhere to get one let me know. E-Mail is open

These are what you need: http://agstore.com/hitch2.html

At that page, scroll down through the parts list, and at the bottom there is a set of prongs that are angled out to fit the 32" spacing implements. Part #864932 HK-932.

These are also angled upwards so implement will lift higher. Best prices I've found.

I don't know where it came from, but I bought a 706 with a fast hitch adapter that the links swivel in and out. The only ones I have ever seen.

Putting an Advert in the classified is going to get results. This is a forum for help and discussion. Jim

Not only that but what would possess a person to post a wanted ad for a Farmall A part in a thread about fast hitches?

Never seen that either. I have three different types here. One set are straight, one is angled so you can reverse them and get a different width (this is the set with the different size holes, I believe) and then I have the cradle type...a frame of sorts that has hooks and latches instead of holes. The last one makes the most sense if you think on it.
